英语晨读诗歌欣赏：旅途　　One day you finally knew
　　what you had to do, and began,
# z; c* z2 D* p7 g7 E# ~　　though the voices around you
# O; |% N7 c2 k& S　　kept shouting
　　their bad advice--
　　有一天，你终于知道，
　　什么是你必须得做，并开始去做，

　　一直喊出，

　　began to tremble

" S) r- ]! m+ j, ?% t　　at your ankles.
) `- ]% t! E+ J- f; D7 X　　“Mend my life!”
　　each voice cried.
　　But you didn’t stop.
　　You knew what you had to do,
, m- ^5 M- L" l0 c+ j) {　　虽然整个房子，
　　开始颤抖，
" s; M2 k  y  P　　你亦感到那条旧绳索，
, I3 q: g: g8 A: _6 C1 A　　绊住了你的脚踝。
　　“修补我的人生!”
　　每个声音都在哭喊。
, Z9 G# z! _; Q  U5 u　　但你并没停止。
' S/ O* E' h/ w; v9 t& F, J　　你知道什么是你必须得做的，

　　though the wind pried
8 O# x; J3 ~& g7 W! [' q　　with its stiff fingers
6 S& ?+ D- y/ ]　　at the very foundation

　　was terrible.
　　It was already late
　　enough, and a wild night,
/ X7 z, o9 T6 U1 ~* S+ |, J　　and the road full of fallen
1 [" p8 t8 b8 a3 k0 @( ~1 N# A　　branches and stones.
　　虽然风用它僵硬的手指，
　　直往根基，
" n* M5 j0 J1 i  K! D　　撬捣，
' F  }$ Z5 }, _# b( q+ T1 E　　虽然它们的忧郁，
2 K4 m5 q: K" L+ V$ M　　着实可怕。
0 g! F4 e8 |$ z5 F7 V) `　　天色，
　　已经很晚，这是个疯狂的夜晚，

　　recognized as your own,
　　that kept you company

　　into the world,
　　determined to do
　　the only thing you could do--
+ a$ M& u  _! Q) Z4 ]7 c8 ?　　determined to save
" K" M3 K5 B2 _9 K+ H: {  b' Q/ {$ B　　the only life you could save.
