If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,

And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;
9 c0 h7 d/ u/ a6 T If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;

If you can meet with triumph and disaster* P) A: J% T; K d/ S
And treat those two impostors just the same;

Twiseted by knaves to make a trap for fools,

And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools

And never breathe a word about your loss;

To serve your turn long after they are gone,

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;% l, g" s, c" J' b) ^4 l; y

If you can fill the unforgiving minute

Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
